The founder of DFG is a British female singer and entrepreneur who, through overcoming intense life struggles, shares her newfound identity with other artists by providing a space for fearless self-expression, using art, song, poetry, and theater. Three different expressions were selected; all three
express the same spirit but were designed to target specific audiences. The design with a hand holding a vintage microphone and breaking through the surface was chosen because it communicated the strongest message to its viewers and fits the target audience of the client.
From the event setting to the venue's atmosphere, extending the feel to the event main visual design, an image of a silhouette of a performer under a spot light on a newspaper was selected.
"Through My Eyes" Art Exhibition consisted of art work from three artists to express their views through their eyes. Inspired by the art work of the artists, the inspiration the main visual features a little girl gazing at the eye on a brick wall, with a vine growing from the eye and reaching to the other side of the wall. This concept was adopted in the exhibition set up, with the eye being projected on a door into the exhibition, so all the guests will literally see and "walk" through the eye. This, of course, was followed by a complementary postcard set designed with an art piece from each artist for the guest to take away.
